Kenneth Hershberger – President

It could be said that "he went and did it" and yes he did. Ken Hershberger, with more than 30 years of successful fund raising accomplishments, retired but immediately decided to go after his dream.

During all the years of working for someone else, he wished for the opportunity to open his own one-stop fund raising consultants firm. The opportunity was there and he did.

On November 2, 2009, Ken opened the doors of Hershberger FR* Consultants, LLC, a consortium of professional offering all forms of successful *fund raising services.

A graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Communications, he served in Viet Nam producing 'hazardous duty' educational training films for the Air Force. In following years, he worked in television hosting and production, then enter the field of fund raising in 1978. Since then, he's raised funds for private schools, hospitals, children care facilities, museums and most recently a retirement home. Over those many years, he acknowledges raising millions of dollars in total, including substantial supportive funds for his most recent employer.

Her sterling reputation is backed by more than 30 years of experience in health care, social services and education. Sue works diligently to blow her clients' horn, not her own. She believes in giving back and actively serves others through community boards and her volunteer efforts.

Mel Marsh – Founder and Principal

For over 30 years Mel has assisted companies and organizations around the world in meeting their goals. Since her graduation from California State University of Fresno, Mel has worked for the US government, and for major corporations in a wide variety of positions ranging from consultant to project planner to product manager. Mel's ability to visualize the future, the present, and the steps needed to reach the future enables her to serve as an outstanding resource and facilitator for strategic planning work. Her planning framework is highly participatory and results in plans that are visionary, achievable, and supported by the organization. Her clients range from small non-profit businesses to government agencies to Fortune 500 publicly traded corporations.

Paul Quinn - Communications Consultant

Paul Quinn is a proven and versatile management and marketing communications professional with a history of success and progressive responsibility. Quinn is an experienced leader and management team member. He is well-connected with the media, legislators, business leaders, professional groups, governmental organizations and educational institutions throughout Ohio. Quinn holds a master's degree in marketing and communications, teaches college courses and is experienced and knowledgeable in all facets of communications, marketing, public relations and media. He has managerial experience in a variety of settings from small business to large multi-site corporations; for-profit and not-for-profit.

Tom Miller - Photographer Consultant

Tom Miller was born and raised in Xenia, Ohio, attended Miami University and graduated from Wright State University with a B.S. in Art Education. In the late 1970’s he owned a two-employee shop in Xenia providing photography and design services to clients in Greene, Montgomery and Clark Counties. In the 1980’s he served as art director and advertising manager for Visual Information Institute, providing high-tech products and services to the non-broadcast video industry. Since 1991 he has worked free-lance from his home studio, serving many different companies in the educational, services, and manufacturing sectors. Scott Handel - Founder and Producer

It is a rare gift when you discover your life’s passion at an early age and you are able to pursue it for a lifetime. Scott Handel has been working in video production for 20 years. He caught the spark in high school and developed it while attending Ohio University. Upon graduation from OU he worked to develop his skills as a production manager and video editor. In 1996 Scott when out on his own to form Scott Handel Productions, which later became Ohio HD Video. His guiding principles were always to do the best work without compromise and seek to form long term relationships with his clients. Today Scott still works with his very first client and is seen as leader in his industry in the Midwest.
